Top 5 best Christmas Movies

Hey everybody!
So so so sorry I've been so out of touch lately. With PDC (see last post), midterm exams, and Christmas shopping I haven't even I had one quiet minute to myself. But with my stressful life I wanted to take a little time out today to make sure I could write about my top five favorite christmas movies!

One: A Christmas Story- Every year my family has to watch a christmas story, its on for 24 hours Christmas Eve on TBS in the Holden house hold its on every tv all day!  It's a hilarious story about a boy named Ralphie and his journey in getting what he truly wants for Christmas, A Red Ryder shot 200 BB gun.
Two: Elf- I mean come on who doesn't love elf. If you haven't seen elf yet well then stop what you're doing right now and go turn on the tv. My favorite quote from Elf "Buddy the Elf what's your favorite color?"
Three: The Santa Clause series- Tim Allen plays a wonderful Chris Kringle in this fun series. In the first we see how an average guy like Scott Calvin (tim allen) becomes santa clause. In the second, Santa has to find his Mrs. Clause. And the third we see how santa deals with a mischievous Jack Frost who is jealous Santa gets his own holiday.
Four: Its a Wonderful life- All I can say is every time Clarence gets his wings I cry. Every time I hear a bell ring I have to say "Every time a bell rings an angle gets it's wings"
Five: Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas- It's a wonderful real life take on the rhyming story of Dr. Seuss of how a little girl named Cindy Lou Who helps the grinch feel love again, and his heart grows three sizes.
Christmas Countdown: 4 days!!!!
Merry Christmas to y'all and your families

PDC 2014

Hey everybody sorry I haven't blogged in a while. A lot has been going on in my crazy little life! But the most exciting thing lately was the Pre Debutant Cotillion (or PDC). PDC is a dance where girls ask the boys and we get dinner and a night of swing dancing to the amazing band Air tight. PDC is my favorite time of year because I get to spend a whole night with some of my favorite people. Of course there are always people that I don't really want to see but overall I love going to PDC!! This year I took one of my good friends Andrew. Andrew and I learned how to swing dance together when we were freshmen, so I thought hey he is my dance partner lets go. We had a lot of fun! Here are a few pictures from PDC!!!!

Last HSP football game

Hey everyone,
I know I haven't been around for a while but its been such a busy couple of weeks. Anyway last night was the last HSP football game of the year. Its so so sad. My football boys put up such a fight last night and I could not be prouder of them! We had such an amazing year full of wins, loses, laughs, cries, and love between the HSP football family. Its so sad to me to see the season come to an end because the football team, managers, and cheerleaders really are one big family. We're there for each other through it all. I love every single one of my football boys and could not have asked for a better season. I can't believe next year is my last season of high school football. Its gonna be one rough teary eyed year.

How to get deal heartbreak

Hi everyone!
Being a teenage girl I've had to deal with lots of heartbreak. And trust me its not easy. But here are the top five
best things to help you get over heartbreak!
One: Ice Cream lots of Ice cream
Two: Netflix
Top five best shows on Netflix: 1. Gossip Girl 2. 90210 3. One Tree Hill 4. Greek 5. Hart of Dixie
Three: Retail Therapy always makes me feel better. To buy something new and pretty to wear is such an accomplished feeling
Four: Amazing Friends, my two best friends Catherine and Lizzie are always there for me to listen and to give me advice. I couldn't ask for any two better best friends!
Five: Time, the only thing you really need to finally get over heartbreak is time. Its so hard to accept the fact that the only thing thats gonna cure a broken heart at all is time. But once you accept that everything else will be easy.
Just remember that heartbreak is never an easy thing but with these five things it will get easier to get over whoever that guy or girl is everyday.

HAPPY HOMECOMING!!

Hello all my lovely readers!
Tonight is HSP's homecoming dance. But this post is about the homecoming football game that the HSP cougars won 52-20 last night!! Yesterday during the day though HSP's upper school was decorated in NEON! Our theme for the football game was neon out. Each grade got a different color to wear and decorate and my amazing junior class and I got the color NEON GREEN! Our hallway was totally green and we won the competition throughout all the hallways! We put 1400 green sticky notes on the wall! It looked amazing! (pictures below) At 5:00 last night the homecoming tailgate began. It was so much fun and so great to see every age at the tailgate and game. Literally every age from new born babies to grandparents!! At HSP we have a little cougar cheerleading program that goes from PK-4 to 5th grade. and every JV and Varsity cheerleader got a buddy. All the little girls were so cute because they got to cheer next to us for the entire first half of the game and do a dance for halftime. They were so happy and cute!!! Here are A TON of pictures from all the festivities yesterday!

CPRIDE day

Hey everyone!
Its the second day of HSP homecoming week! It was CPRIDE day today. That means that each grade at the HSP upper school gets a letter that we need to dress up as something that starts with that letter. Being a Junior this year my wonderful classmates and I got the letter P! we had everything from pink ladies to presidents from disney characters to even colors like pink and purple. We had almost everything that starts with the letter P. My three best friends Stephanie, Catherine, Lizzie, and I were the plastics for mean girls. Here are a couple of pictures of the plastics, they're so fetch!
Candid of me and my girls, this is basically our group all the time
The plastics are sassier than you (from left to right: stephanie, me, catherine, and lizzie)
We couldn't take the signature mean girls picture without laughing but luckily we got this adorable photo out of the comical experience!
